Each Pokémon has its own upgrades. They count only when playing that Pokémon.

01 Starting selection
The official starting-partner selection describes starters from every region, plus two more friends.
This is the interface’s description, not an independently audited roster or count. Partner stats, full collection coverage and unlock routes are not established here.
Mobile controls: the official entry says landscape, drag to move and tap a move to switch. Read the mobile input labels and device-test limits before playing.
02 Partner upgrades
An upgrade belongs to its Pokémon, not every partner.
The official upgrades screen says each Pokémon has its own upgrades, and they count only when playing with that Pokémon.
That means improving one partner does not improve a different partner. Before spending, check which Pokémon you intend to play.
This explains upgrade scope. Costs, refunds, purchase permanence, harmful-upgrade claims and the best purchase order are not verified. Level-up reward choices are a separate interface described in the controls guide.
03 Regional gacha tabs
The collected official gacha interface names nine regional tabs:
- Kanto
- Johto
- Hoenn
- Sinnoh
- Unova
- Kalos
- Alola
- Galar
- Paldea
These are observed menu labels. Ticket earning or spending rules, pull rates, current pools, guarantees and currency optimization remain unresolved. The labels do not establish a tested ticket economy.
For the separate rules about simultaneous moves and item occupancy, read bond slots and the held-item limit.
